Long Lasting Results

CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared and results are long-lasting, so you can achieve your desired results for good. For maximum results, we typically recommend two to three treatments for areas of concern. You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment and will experience the most dramatic results after two months. But your body will still flush out fat cells and continues doing so for up to four to six months after treatment.

What are Eyelash Extensions?Eyelash extensions are a way to extend the length and thickness of your natural eyelashes. Eyelash extensions are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to each individual natural eyelash one by one for a natural, beautiful and luscious look. They can be applied in different styles based on your desired look and lifestyle.
-
What does the Eyelash Extension Process entail? The eyelash extensions are applied while you are lying down with your eyes closed on a cozy, warm spa bed. The process can take about 1.5 to 2.5 hours for a full set, depending on the set of lashes you desire. After cleaning and priming your lashes, your bottom lashes are protected with an anti-aging eyepad or medical tape and then lash extensions are applied 1-to-1 with medical-adhesive. It is a very relaxing, non-invasive procedure and most clients fall asleep!
-
How should I prepare for my Eyelash Extension appointments? It's best to arrive to your eyelash extension appointment with no eye makeup and clean lashes. It's not a problem if you do have makeup on - our lash estheticians can remove and cleanse your lashes. Also we recomment that you limit your intake of caffeine before you come. Caffeine can cause your eyelashes to flutter making application more difficult resulting in fewer lashes applied. And an important reminder: Remember that you can not get your eyelashes wet or near steam for at least 24 hours! The adhesive needs this time to cure ensuring good extension longevity!
-
How should I care for my Eyelash ExtenionsAfter the intial 24 hour "curing" period, you will need to take care of your lashes a little differently than what you are used to. We recommend that you: - Wash lashes 5-6 times weekly using an oil-free eye wash and gentle cleansing brush. We recommend the Minkys Lashampoo which we keep in stock at Marigold as well as gentle lash-friendly cleansing brushes. - Brush lashes daily, from middle to the tips with your Lash Styling Wand. - Use Marigold's protective lash sealant available in clear or black to help achieve long-lasting resutls (NOTE: for Classic style lash extensions only). You can coat every other day on lashes that are completely dry, and apply from middle to tips of lashes. - Avoid applying oil-based or waterproof cosmetics and creams on or around the eyes. - Apply a translucent powder on top of any product applied to or around the eye area.
-
How long to Eyelash Extensions last?Eyelash extensions can last up to 4-6 weeks. However they are no longer full at the 6 week mark. Therefore fills are recommended every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes full. The extensions will shed with the natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes. If you choose to get touch-ups in between they will last as long as you continue to fill them in and can be worn indefinatitely!
-
How often should I get a "refill"?"We recommend getting a refill up every 2 to 3 weeks. If you wait too long your eyelash extensions will fall out and you will require a full set. Other factors such as exposure to steam, humidity or touching your eyes may cause the extensions to fall sooner. Touch-ups can take anywhere from 45 - to one hour, depending on how long you wait between appointments. During your touch-up appointment, we will remove make-up residue, remove grown-out extensions, prime your lashes and apply extensions to new lash growth. A good indicator of when to be in for a fill is when your extensions are 50% gone. Lash Tip: if you arrive with clean lashes the lash esthetician has more time to focus on applying lashes rather than cleaning!
-
Who should not wear Eyelash Extensions? Most people can wear eyelash extensions. However ther are a few things that can prohibit someone wearing them: - Have pre-existing eyelid or eye conditions such as blepharitis and ocular rosacea. - In chemotherapy or radiation treatments. - Suffers from alopecia (hair loss) - Want a very heavy mascara look but do not have the natural lashes to support it. - A condition called Trichotillomania, which is compulsive pulling or twisting of hair or eyelashes. - Are in chlorinated water many times a week. - Cannot control rubbing their eyes. - Suffers from severe allergies.
-
Do you charge for consultations? All consultations are complimentary! But we do as for a credit card to hold your appointment.
-
Do you offer packages? We offer discounted package pricing on Laser Hair Removal, Microneedling, Morphues8, IPL Photofacials, and other treatments.
-
Do you have evening and weekend hours?Yes! Typically we have evening hours Tuesdays and then alternating Wednesdays. And we also have Saturday hours from 10-2. But, in the summer these times can vary slightly so give us a call if you need additional information.
